INSTALLATION GUIDE
Install Meridian.
One license, every platform. Choose where you trade — the NinjaTrader 8 add-on, or the standalone app for Tradovate and Ironbeam — and follow the steps for your platform below.
One Meridian subscription activates every platform — you never pay twice.
NINJATRADER 8 · ADD-ON · ~10 MIN
What you'll need.
Three things, and the whole install takes about ten minutes. Have them ready and the steps below go without a hitch.
- ✓NinjaTrader 8 installed (Windows, 64-bit)
- ✓An active Meridian subscription
- ✓Your Whop login
Recommended for first use: finish your trading profile in Settings, then place a few SIM trades to confirm the HUD and Dashboard respond before going live. Guard rules are off by default until you configure them.
QUICK START
- 1Get your license key from Whop (the Software / License Key section of your Meridian PSI membership).
- 2Download the latest
.zipfrom meridianpsi.com/download — do not extract it. - 3In NinjaTrader 8, go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On and select the
.zip. - 4Open the Dashboard from Control Center → New → Meridian Dashboard (or the ☰ icon in the top-right of the HUD).
- 5In the Dashboard, open the License tab, paste your key, click Activate.
- 6Open Settings and configure your trading profile (size, session window, response preset).
- 7Optional: test in SIM before going live.
Already running Meridian? Update like this
Meridian is a compiled add-on, so you must remove the old version first — otherwise NinjaTrader asks you to “replace” dozens of files and can quietly keep running the old version.
- 1In NinjaTrader: Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly → select MeridianPSI → Remove.
- 2Restart NinjaTrader.
- 3Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On → choose the .zip you downloaded.
Your license, settings, journal and Guard rules are kept automatically. · First-time install? Skip these steps — just follow the walkthrough below.
STEP BY STEP
The full walkthrough.
Follow them in order. Each step is short and self-contained.
Get your license key
Your Meridian license key is stored inside your Whop membership.
- 1Go to https://whop.com/@me/settings/memberships
- 2Sign in with the same email you used at checkout
- 3Open your Meridian PSI membership
- 4Find the Software / License Key section
- 5Copy your license key
Copy the key exactly — no extra spaces before or after. Can't find it? Email contactmeridianpsi@gmail.com and include the email address you used at checkout.
Download Meridian
Download the latest Meridian build here:
https://www.meridianpsi.com/download
Save the file somewhere easy to find, such as your Downloads folder.
Important: the download is a NinjaScript .zip package. Do not extract it — import the .zip file directly into NinjaTrader.
Import Meridian into NinjaTrader 8
- 1Open NinjaTrader 8
- 2Go to the Control Center
- 3Click Tools
- 4Click Import
- 5Click NinjaScript Add-On
- 6Select the Meridian
.zipfile you downloaded - 7Confirm the import
- 8Allow NinjaTrader to compile the add-on
- 9Restart NinjaTrader if prompted
Important: Meridian is not a chart indicator. Don't look for it in the chart Indicators list.
Open the Meridian Dashboard
Either method works any time:
- ✓Control Center → New → Meridian Dashboard, or
- ✓Click the hamburger icon (☰, three lines) in the top-right of the HUD
Both open the Dashboard window. The HUD overlay appears once you connect an account and a session starts.
Activate your license
In the Dashboard:
- 1Open the License tab
- 2Paste your Whop license key
- 3Click Activate
If activation fails, check that:
- •You copied the full key with no extra spaces
- •You're using the same Whop account that purchased the subscription
- •Your machine has an active internet connection (one-time validation call)
Configure your trading profile
Open Settings in the Dashboard and configure your profile before going live.
Recommended first setup:
- 1Set your normal trading size (typical contracts/lots per trade)
- 2Set your session time window (or toggle the Session Window off for 24/7 monitoring)
- 3Pick a response preset: Sensitive, Balanced, or Relaxed (sets how aggressively PSI moves on a behavioral pattern)
- 4Optional: open Fine-tuning to adjust alert sensitivity, recovery speed, and the direction-flip penalty — or leave the preset defaults
- 5Click Apply & save
Guard rules are configured separately in the Guard tab (Guard tier only) — not in Settings. Guard rules are off by default until you create them.
Optional: test in SIM
SIM testing is optional but recommended for new installs:
- 1Connect a SIM account in NinjaTrader
- 2Confirm your account appears in the Dashboard (use Refresh accounts in Settings if not)
- 3Place a few small SIM trades and confirm the HUD and Dashboard update
Market Replay sessions are tracked in a separate context — they won't affect your live baseline.
Updating to a new version
Already running Meridian and want the latest build? NinjaTrader won't replace an add-on that's already installed, so remove the old one first — it takes about a minute, and you never touch any files by hand.
- 1Close any open Meridian windows (Dashboard and the HUD).
- 2In NinjaTrader, go to Control Center → Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly…
- 3Select MeridianPSI in the list and click Remove. (This only removes the program — your license, profile, journal and history are kept safe in a separate data folder.)
- 4Download the new
.zipfrom https://www.meridianpsi.com/download — do not extract it. - 5Go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On and select the new
.zip. - 6Let NinjaTrader compile, and restart it if prompted.
- 7Open the Dashboard → License tab and confirm the new version number is shown.
Your settings carry over automatically. Updating never resets your license, trading profile, Guard rules, journal, or session history. If you ever import without removing the old version first and NinjaTrader shows a compile error, just do the Remove step above and import again.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Common issues.
Quick fixes for the things new installs run into most.
No accounts are showing
- 1Make sure your SIM or live account is connected in NinjaTrader
- 2Click Refresh accounts in Meridian
- 3If needed, close and reopen the Meridian Dashboard
If the issue continues, send a screenshot to support.
PSI shows Warning or Critical on the first SIM trade
Usually a behavioral signal fired against your configured profile. Common causes:
- •You're trading outside your configured session window
- •Your position size is above your profile's typical size
- •Your profile isn't fully configured yet — defaults can be tight on a fresh install
Switch the response preset to Relaxed in Settings while you dial in your profile, or open Fine-tuning and lower the alert sensitivity.
I can't find Meridian in Indicators
That's expected. Meridian is an add-on, not a chart indicator — don't look for it in the chart Indicators list.
Open it from:
Control Center → New → Meridian Dashboard
The import failed (or a compile error after importing)
Almost always this means an older Meridian version is still installed — NinjaTrader won't replace it on import. Remove the old one first:
- 1Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly… → select MeridianPSI → Remove
- 2Then Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On and select the new
.zip
Your license and data are untouched by this. If NinjaTrader still shows an error, send a screenshot to support.

TRADOVATE · STANDALONE APP · EARLY ACCESS · ~5 MIN
What you'll need.
No NinjaTrader required — the standalone Windows app connects straight to your Tradovate account. Three things, and you're running in about five minutes.
- ✓ Windows 10 or later (64-bit) — the installer bundles everything else
- ✓ A Tradovate account, including prop-firm (eval and funded) accounts
- ✓ An active Meridian subscription — new subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial
One license covers every platform — the same subscription that runs your NinjaTrader 8 add-on activates this app. You don't pay twice.
QUICK START
- 1 Get your license key from Whop (the Software / License Key section of your Meridian PSI membership).
- 2 Download
Meridian-win-Setup.exeand run it — it installs in seconds. - 3 Click Sign in with Tradovate and authorize in your browser on Tradovate's own page. (Funded accounts can instead use a Tradovate API key.)
- 4 Open the License tab, paste your key, click Activate.
- 5 Open Settings and configure your trading profile.
- 6 Optional: connect a demo account first to watch it run.
STEP BY STEP
The full walkthrough.
Follow them in order. Each step is short and self-contained.
Get your license key
Your Meridian license key is stored inside your Whop membership.
- 1 Go to https://whop.com/@me/settings/memberships
- 2 Sign in with the same email you used at checkout
- 3 Open your Meridian PSI membership and find the Software / License Key section
- 4 Copy your license key
It's the same key for every platform — if you already activated NinjaTrader 8, reuse it here. Copy it exactly, no extra spaces.
Download the app
Download the standalone installer and save it somewhere easy to find, like your Downloads folder:
One app, both brokers. The same installer covers Tradovate and Ironbeam — you pick your broker inside the app after it opens.
Run the installer
- 1 Double-click
Meridian-win-Setup.exe - 2 It installs in a few seconds — nothing else to set up, no NinjaTrader needed
- 3 Meridian opens automatically when it's done
It updates itself. From here on, Meridian checks for new builds on launch and downloads them quietly in the background, then applies the update the next time you open the app — you won't re-download by hand.
Sign in with Tradovate
- 1 Click Sign in with Tradovate on the Connect screen
- 2 Authorize in your browser on Tradovate's own page — with this method your password never touches Meridian
- 3 Meridian detects Demo vs Live automatically and connects your active account
Funded accounts can switch to Use API key and enter Tradovate API credentials instead — those are stored only on your PC, encrypted with Windows DPAPI. Eval and prop accounts use the browser sign-in.
Meridian reads only your own account activity and never places entry orders for you. On eval and prop-evaluation accounts the lock also holds at the broker, so it stays put even if you switch to your phone or the web platform; on funded/live accounts it's enforced in-app while Meridian runs.
Activate your license
- 1 Open the License tab
- 2 Paste your Whop license key
- 3 Click Activate
If activation fails, check that:
- • You copied the full key with no extra spaces
- • You're using the same Whop account that purchased the subscription
- • Your machine has an active internet connection (one-time validation call)
Configure your trading profile
Open Settings and set your profile before going live.
- 1 Set your normal trading size (typical contracts per trade)
- 2 Set your session time window (or toggle it off for 24/7 monitoring)
- 3 Pick a response preset (Sensitive, Balanced, or Relaxed); advanced users can open Fine-tuning for finer control
- 4 Click Apply & save
Guard rules are configured in the Guard tab (Guard tier only) — off by default until you create them.
Optional: connect a demo account first
New to Meridian? Sign in with a Tradovate demo account and place a few small trades to watch the PSI gauge and HUD respond before you go live. Demo activity is tracked separately and won't affect your live baseline.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Common issues.
Quick fixes for the things new installs run into most.
No account is showing after connecting
- 1 Confirm the account you want is active on Tradovate's side
- 2 Re-open the Connect screen and connect again
- 3 Meridian auto-detects Demo vs Live and connects your active account — confirm the account you want is active on Tradovate's side.
If the issue continues, send a screenshot to support.
Sign-in didn't complete
The Tradovate authorization opens in your browser. Finish authorizing there, then return to Meridian. If it stalls, close the Connect window and click Sign in with Tradovate again. (If you used the API-key option instead, re-check your Tradovate API credentials.)
License activation fails
- • Check the full key copied with no extra spaces
- • Use the same Whop account that purchased the subscription
- • Confirm an active internet connection (one-time validation)
The same key works across NinjaTrader 8, Tradovate, and Ironbeam.
PSI shows Warning or Critical on the first trade
Usually your profile isn't dialed in yet — defaults can be tight on a fresh install. Common causes:
- • Trading outside your configured session window
- • Position size above your profile's typical size
Switch the response preset to Relaxed in Settings while you dial it in, or open Fine-tuning and lower the alert sensitivity.

IRONBEAM · STANDALONE APP · EARLY ACCESS · ~5 MIN
What you'll need.
No NinjaTrader required — the standalone Windows app connects straight to your Ironbeam account. Three things, and you're running in about five minutes.
- ✓ Windows 10 or later (64-bit) — the installer bundles everything else
- ✓ An Ironbeam account with API access (request it at ironbeam.com/api — Ironbeam emails your API username and password). Prop-firm-issued accounts work too if they include API access.
- 3 On the Connect screen choose Ironbeam, enter your Ironbeam API username, password and (tenant users only) API key, then click Connect.
- 4 Open the License tab, paste your key, click Activate.
- 5 Open Settings and configure your trading profile.
- 6 Optional: connect a demo account first to watch it run.

Connect your Ironbeam account
- 1 On the Connect screen, choose Ironbeam
- 2 Enter your Ironbeam API username (account #), password, and — for tenant/vendor accounts only — your API key
- 3 Click Connect. Meridian detects Demo vs Live automatically
Your Ironbeam credentials are entered in Meridian and stored only on your PC, encrypted with Windows DPAPI — there's no browser step. Meridian uses them solely to read your account.
Meridian reads only your own account activity and never places entry orders for you. On Ironbeam, enforcement is app-level — entry blocking and flatten. Ironbeam's API doesn't expose an account-level kill switch, so the app does the enforcing while it's running.
Activate your license
- 1 Open the License tab
- 2 Paste your Whop license key

Quick fixes for the things new installs run into most.
No account is showing after connecting

If the issue continues, send a screenshot to support.
Connection didn't complete
Double-check your Ironbeam API username, password, and (tenant users) API key are correct and for the right environment, then click Connect again. Ironbeam issues separate demo and live API logins — use the one for the world you trade. If it still fails, confirm your account has API access enabled at ironbeam.com/api.
License activation fails
- • Check the full key copied with no extra spaces
