Meridian is designed with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Core Privacy Principle

Meridian does not collect, transmit, or store your trading data. All session analysis, stability index calculations, and behavioral tracking happen entirely on your local machine. Your trading activity never leaves your computer.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Software License Validation

When you activate a license, the Software sends an anonymized license key hash to our licensing server to verify your subscription status. This request contains:

  • A one-way hash of your license key (not the key itself)
  • Your Software version number
  • A timestamp

No personal information, trading data, or system identifiers are included.

2b. Website Analytics

This website uses privacy-respecting analytics to understand visitor traffic (page views, referral sources). We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. No personally identifiable information is collected via website analytics.

2c. Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we retain the email and information you provide solely to resolve your inquiry. We do not share this with third parties.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • Trading positions, orders, or account data
  • NinjaTrader account information
  • Financial account numbers or credentials
  • Behavioral index scores or session history
  • Any data processed by the Software on your local machine

4. Data Security

All communications between the Software and our licensing server use HTTPS/TLS encryption. We do not store license key originals — only one-way hashes for validation purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Vercel — website hosting (see Vercel Privacy Policy)
  • Payment Processor (TBD) — for purchase transactions. We do not store credit card information.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to:

  • Request deletion of any personal data we hold about you
  • Request a copy of any data associated with your account
  • Opt out of communications
