OVERVIEW · THE HOME TAB
Walk in briefed.
Walk out debriefed.
Most platforms open on a chart. Meridian opens on you. Before the open, Overview briefs you on the trader showing up today — your composure trend, the one thing to watch, your ritual, the rules armed to stop you. After the close, it tells you the truth about what just happened.

Overview before the open — rendered from simulated session data.
BEFORE THE OPEN
A brief on the only variable
that changes every day: you.
The market doesn't know what kind of week you've had. Your baseline does. Overview reads your recent sessions and opens with the context that actually moves today's risk.
Your 30-day composure, last session's grade, the month's net P&L, and your stable-day count — the scoreboard before the first order.
One focus line built from your own history — "You're in rhythm. Don't force it." — plus the secondary habits worth keeping in mind.
The one-line takeaway from your last debrief, resurfaced where you'll actually see it — so yesterday's tuition isn't wasted.
Your top leaks, ranked from your sessions — size creep, overstaying — with how often each one bites.
PRE-SESSION RITUAL · ARMED TO STOP YOU
Prepare and arm,
on one screen.
Two things separate a planned session from an impulsive one. Overview puts both at the bottom of the brief — right above the Start session button.
- ✓ Pre-session ritual — your own checklist, your own steps: reviewed yesterday's lesson, size plan set, no open positions… add or remove steps freely. Completion is tracked per session.
- ✓ Armed to stop you — the Guard rules live for today, shown as chips: loss cap, pause after losses, max size, session window. What's armed is visible before the first order, not discovered after it fires.
- ✓ Start session → — one deliberate action to begin.
Rules are created and edited in Meridian Guard — Overview shows what's armed so the contract you set is in front of you when it matters.

The ritual and today's armed rules, directly above Start session.
AFTER THE CLOSE
The debrief your P&L
can't give you.
Once trades land, Overview becomes the session debrief — and it doesn't grade you on green or red. It grades you on whether the money came from your rules or in spite of them.

Every trade is tagged earned, luck, or variance. A +$390 day where $258 came from an oversized rule-break reads exactly that way: "Most of your profit came from a trade that broke your own size rule — not from your edge."
The debrief reconstructs the exposure you actually carried — what one normal stop-out on that oversized trade would have cost against your daily limit.
The behaviors that cost you PSI today, ranked — oversizing, revenge entries, rule-breaks, holding losers too long — with the session's PSI line and equity curve side by side.
Not ten notes — one concrete instruction, derived from today: "Hard-cap your size at 6 contracts. Your disciplined trades netted +$132 cleanly — the size spikes are the only thing risking a red month." It resurfaces tomorrow morning as Yesterday's lesson.
Want the full anatomy of a session record — quick notes, mood chips, the compiled report? That's the Session Journal.
WHY A HOME SCREEN
Every session, the same honest loop.
Overview is where the loop starts and ends. The monitor and Guard run the middle.
Read yourself before you read the market: composure trend, the one thing to watch, your top leak.
Finish the ritual, see what Guard has armed, and start the session deliberately.
Close the day with attribution, not vibes — and carry exactly one fix into tomorrow.
The month-level view of this loop — calendar, trends, and what compounds — lives in Intel & Patterns.
Open on yourself,
not on a chart.
Brief in, debrief out — with the rules you set armed in between. That's a trading day with a structure.
